Sometimes it happens that when a husband comes home, what does he see? The main entrance is littered with children’s toys and scattered clothes. His children greet their father in dirty, smelly clothes, and when his wife meets him, she is in such a state that she’s yelling at the children like a wild beast, screaming and hitting them.
The poor man finds his home in a state of chaos, restlessness, filth, worry, and distress. He wants to eat lunch, and though food is available, it comes with fear, terror, and shouting. When he enters his room to sleep and rest, what does he see? Everything is scattered about – the bed isn’t properly made, with biscuit crumbs scattered on it, the baby’s feeding bottle lying on the pillow, and the mat on the floor is dirty with spilled milk.
Even if he wants to be intimate with his wife, he faces mental distress and great trouble because he himself has to create the conditions for intimacy. There is no interest from the wife’s side, nor any preparation. So in these circumstances, what should the poor man do? Only a wise woman can answer this.
